Joyelle Scavone had been making rum cakes for years when a customer at her and her husband’s restaurant, Anthony’s asked for one. As they say the rest was history!! She began to work like a mad scientist mixing exotic flavors of cordials and liquors with rum to create all of the ScRUMptious flavors. They became a staple on Anthony’s dessert menu and the orders for both personal and business came flying in. Now you too can experience the moistest, most exotic rum cake available!!
Anthony and Joyelle Scavone have been proud owners of Anthony’s Pizzeria and Italian Grille for almost six years. Anthony has been spinning pizzas since a young boy in his father’s many pizzerias. Growing up in Brooklyn, Ny Anthony learned everything from how to roll dough to making a successful business from his father. Since then Anthony has had many pizzerias and restaurants from Brooklyn, NY to Altoona, Pa. There he currently owns and operates Anthony’s Pizzeria and Italian Grille along with his wife Joyelle who is known for more than just her ScRUMptious Gourmet Rum Cakes . She was also Mrs. Pennsylvania United States 2006. Joyelle and her husband work extremely hard together at making their restaurant a success and their relationship an even greater one. Together they have a little angel named Maria who they love and adore more than anything.
